Nothing worthwhile is ever accomplished without hard work, and when it's combined with genuine humility, it creates truly inspiring moments.
Recently, a video featuring Alakh Pandey, founder of Physics Wallah, engaging in a heartfelt conversation with the mother of a boy from the slums has gone viral.
Physics Wallah is an Indian multinational educational technology company that began as a YouTube channel focused on teaching the physics curriculum for the Joint Entrance Examinations (JEE).
This video highlights the boy's incredible journey of cracking the JEE and gaining admission to IIT through his relentless hard work.
It also beautifully showcases Pandey's genuine humility.
In the video, Alakh Pandey is seen sitting on a cot with the boy and his mother, sharing a heartfelt conversation.
The mother reflects on her child's struggles, saying, "Padhte padhte thak jata tha toh kabhi idhar let jata tha, (pointing to the floor), kabhi idhar, kabhi kursi par. Net khatam ho gaya toh woh chhat par chadd jate, dusre ke wifi k liye. Bahut takleef kiye wo." (He would get tired from studying and sometimes lie down here [pointing to the floor], sometimes there, or on the chair. When the internet was down, he would climb to the roof to use someone else¡¯s Wi-Fi. He went through a lot of hardship.)
