Insights from UPSC journey: Immense value in the process
Arpita emphasises that there is immense value in the process, regardless of whether one ultimately enters into civil services or not.
One of the key points she highlights is that UPSC preparation provides access to a vast pool of knowledge. Covering topics ranging from International Relations to Constitution to History to World Geography, it equips individuals to speak confidently on a wide array of subjects. This, she believes, is one of the most valuable aspects of the UPSC journey.
Arpita then stresses the importance of sharing knowledge, stating that true success lies not only in the final exam result but also in how one utilises the knowledge gained. She personally finds fulfillment in sharing her insights and experiences.
Throughout her rigorous preparation, Arpita has acquired diverse skill sets. She has not only been an educator but also a mentor, consultant, and writer. Additionally, she has had the privilege of hosting and meeting IAS officers and other learned individuals on YouTube.
So every individual has the potential to be much more, sometimes, as Arpita describes, "something bigger than even your own imagination."
