Amba Dalmia Scholarship Program details
The Amba Dalmia Scholarship Program is suited for Indian women with aspirations for advanced studies in France, particularly in the fields of Music, Theatre, Sports, Arts, Sculpture, Cinema, Ballet, Opera, Painting, Photography, Oenology, and Culinary studies.
The scholarship is provided in Bachelor's, Master's and Short-term programmes for students or young professionals.
What is the Amba Dalmia Scholarship value?
The Amba Dalmia Scholarship scholarship awardees will be provided with:
- a monthly stipend to cover living costs in France
- visa and Etudes en France fee waiver
Amba Dalmia Scholarship: Eligibility
The eligibility criteria for applicants are as follows:
- Be a citizen of India.
- Be at least 18 years old or above at the time of application.
- Be a female student or professional who has successfully completed high school/graduation from an Indian institution, showcasing a consistently outstanding academic record.
- Have applied for or secured admission in a higher education institution in France.
- Individuals who have already received a French Government or Erasmus Mundus scholarship are not eligible for an additional scholarship.
- While knowledge of French is beneficial, it is not mandatory for eligibility.
Amba Dalmia Scholarship: How to apply
Candidates have the option to submit their applications online. Furthermore, there is a potential for applicants to be contacted for a telephonic or Skype interview if it is deemed necessary.
Candidates need to submit the following documents for applying:
- Curriculum vitae
- Copy of passport
- Passport photograph
- Proof of educational qualifications ¨C High school and university marksheet and passing certificate/degree
- Evidence that you have been accepted unconditionally for the course, project or that progress towards acceptance has been made
- No Objection Certificate from the Indian institution (if you are a student)
