Shocking CCTV footage of a daylight robbery on Saturday inside the Pragati Maidan tunnel in Delhi shows four people in two motorcycles waylaying a cab, threatening the passengers at gunpoint, and making away with a bag full of cash from the vehicle¡¯s rear seat.
According to police, a delivery agent and his associate were allegedly robbed of Rs 2 lakh by the four unidentified men inside the 1.5km-long-tunnel when the two were going to Gurgaon in a cab to deliver the money. The tunnel connects New Delhi with Sarai Kale Khan and Noida.

The 22-second footage, which surfaced on Monday, shows the robbery took place even as several vehicles passed by. Delhi CM demands L-G's resignation
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal demanded Lieutenant Governor V K Saxena's resignation.
"LG shud resign. Make way for someone who can provide safety n security to the people of Delhi. (sic)," he said in a tweet, tagging a news report. "If Central govt is unable to make Delhi safe, hand it over to us. We will show u how to make a city safe for its citizens (sic)."

Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) Chairperson Swati Maliwal termed the incident a 'public safety emergency'.
"Complete lawlessness in the Capital! Delhi¡¯s law and order system is falling brick by brick. This is an alarming situation, A PUBLIC SAFETY EMERGENCY! ACT NOW or wait for your turn," she tweeted.

After the incident, the complainant lodged a complaint with the police. The complainant, Patel Sajan Kumar, who works as a delivery agent with Omiya Enterprises at Chandni Chowk, was with his friend Jigar Patel when he was robbed.
The police had said a case was registered and raids were being conducted to arrest the men. They said they were also questioning the complainants, their employer, and other company staff to ascertain if it was an inside job.
