Ayodhya Ram Temple: 56 Bhog Prasad To Be Offered To Ram Lalla First After Pran Pratishtha
The '56 bhog prasad' including different types of desserts like Rasgulla, Laddu, Barfi, etc will be offered to the deity by the chief priest of the Ram temple, Acharya Satyendra Das. "Sajal Gupta from Madhurima Sweets in Lucknow has brought the 56 bhog prasad. This will be the first offering after the Pran Pratishtha of Lord Ram. After that, it will be distributed among the devotees," Acharya Das said.
After the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of the Ram Temple, on January 22, a '56 bhog prasad' will be first offered to Ram Lalla.

"Sajal Gupta from Madhurima Sweets in Lucknow has brought the 56 bhog prasad. This will be the first offering after the Pran Pratishtha of Lord Ram. After that, it will be distributed among the devotees," Acharya Das said.
Gupta said that he was told by Acharya Das that the first prasad, which would be offered to Lord Ram after the Pran Pratishtha, would be given by him.
"I have brought this 56 bhog prasad from Lucknow. (It was) Mahant ji's order that after January 22, Pran Pratishtha, the first Prasad to be offered to Ram Lalla will be from our side," he said.

Pran Pratishtha on January 22
The Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lalla will take place on January 22.
Pran Pratishtha which means imbibing the idol with divine consciousness, and is a must for every idol that is worshipped in a temple.
Ram Lalla idol installed
Ahead of the Pran Pratishtha, the idol of Lord Ram was placed inside the sanctum sanctorum of the temple in Ayodhya on Thursday.
The Ram Lalla idol, carved by Mysuru-based sculptor Arun Yogiraj stands 51-inch tall and is made of black stone.

The Ram Lall depicts the deity as a five-year-old child standing on a lotus, which is also crafted from the same stone.
Lakhs of devotees are expected to reach Ayodhya on January 22 for the Pran Pratishtha, though only the invited guests will attend the ceremony.
Laddus to be offered as prasad to devotees
The Ram Temple will open its doors to the public on January 23 and anticipating a rush of devotees, the temple trust has designated a group of confectioners from Varanasi and Gujarat to prepare laddus, which will be offered as a prasad to Lord Ram.

In addition to this, several temples including the Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga in Ujjain and the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam in Andhra Pradesh have also sent laddus to Ayodhya as Prasad.
