72-Year-Old Man Dies After His Clothes Catch Fire While Smoking Beedi in Delhi's Tughlaqabad Area
After some time when people in the house saw smoke coming out of the room, they tried to open the door, but it was locked, police said.
A 72-year-old property dealer, identified as Jaichand Bidhuri, died after his clothes caught fire from a beedi he was smoking. The incident took place in Delhi¡¯s Tughlaqabad area. He was rushed to a hospital where he died during the treatment.
His wife told the police that she had given him some beedis and a matchbox and left him alone in a room on the ground floor of the house.
