The spill out from the Cambridge Analytica data theft fiasco continues to rattle the political scenario in India as more and more links between the political strategy firm and parties continue to emerge.
Christopher Wylie, a former CA employe-turned whistleblower on Wednesday revealed more details of SCLs India operations.

According to documents shared by Wylie on Twitter, SCL India operated from Indirapuram, Ghaziabad and had regional offices in cities like Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Cuttack, Ghaziabad, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Kolkata, Patna and Pune.
Wylie, who had on Tuesday during a hearing before the British Parliament said that Congress was one of its clients, have now named JDU as another party which has utilised its services.
As per the documents, SCL India has extensively worked on caste research of Indian voters to study how it influences their voting behaviour.
He also revealed that SCL has worked in India in the 2012 Uttar Pradesh elections, 2009 general elections 2010 Bihar elections among other projects.

Cambridge Analytica and its parent company, SCL are accused of illegally obtaining user data of some 50 million Facebook users, which it used to influence the 2016 US elections. As the probe into SCLs operations widened, it was revealed that the company had worked with political parties in many countries including India.
