Gujarat Couple Wants To End Politics Over Rafale Deal, Print Invitation Card With An Explainer
Now, another Gujarati couple has designed a wedding card in which they have asked votes for BJP and PM Modi and have gone the extra mile to defend the Rafale deal also.
Last month, a couple from Goa won everyone¡¯s heart when they appealed their friends and family to pledge their eyes for donation as their wedding gift. With a total population of 15 lakh in Goa, only 3,000 individuals in the state had pledged to donate their eyes.
To set a good precedent in the coastal territory they urged their near and dear ones to support this social cause. In Gujarat, however, couples are urging their guests to vote for Prime Minister Narendra Modi instead in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Earlier this month, the wedding card of a Surat-based family read, 'Our gift is your vote for Modi in 2019 Lok Sabha Elections'. Now, another Gujarati couple has designed a wedding card in which they have asked votes for BJP and PM Modi and have gone the extra mile to defend the Rafale deal also.
Just like any government manifesto would read before the elections, the couple has laid down proper points defending why Rafale is a legitimate contract.
¡°Our gift would be whatsoever you may wish to contribute towards BJP via NAMO app and your vote for Modi in 2019 Lok Sabha elections.¡±

Yuvraj Weds Sakshi wedding card has another leaflet that reads ¡°Keep calm and trust NAMO¡±. They have then concisely mentioned nine points that include only ¡®fools¡¯ would compare prices of a simple flyaway aircraft with a weaponized jet.
The wedding card further read that the price quoted by Congress is nowhere in the official documents. ¡°Congress keeps citing Rs 1.30 lakh crores. Now it was UPA which decided in 2005 that offset partners in India must get 40-50 per cent of total work. Since the total deal is Rs 58,000 crores, it would amount to Rs 29,000 crores.¡± read the third point.

Another man named Bhushan Branson tweeted his wedding invitation card which not only asked people to vote for him but also highlighted his government¡¯s schemes, policies and achievements. He wrote, "We have to take care of Modi, Modi will take care of the nation.¡±
