Another Fatal Selfie, Student Drowns In Odisha Waterfall While Clicking Picture With Friends

The selfie fever has taken another life and this time a student in Odisha has become its victim. A student fell into Bhimkund waterfall after he slipped while taking a selfie with his friends in Odisha¡¯s Mayurbhanj district. The accident took place yesterday.
Rohon Mishra was from Cuttack. A video released by news agency ANI shows a person getting swept away by waves he desperately tries to float. Many people can be seen rushing to the shores of the water body to help him, but he couldn¡¯t be saved.
A case has been registered after the accident.

Taking selfie has caused 259 deaths across the world in the last six years, as per the study conducted by AIIMS, Delhi. The lead cause in all these deaths is drowning followed by accidents involving transportation and falling from heights.
