Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu has set a great example of reaching out to the people of the state by travelling on foot for hours to meet the residents of a remote village.
Khandu trekked 24 km, walking for over 11 hours to visit Luguthang village- one of the remotest inhabited villages in Tawang district, situated at a height of around 14,500 feet above sea level.
The 41-year-old posted photos of his trek, where the CM was seen walking through the inhospitable terrine accompanied by just one guard and a resident of the village.
Luguthang is a nomadic village with about 50 people and has 10 households. The villagers there are primarily engaged in Yak-rearing.
