As Hunt For 'Man-Eater' Avni Continues, Activists Demand Presidential Pardon For The Tigress

The tigress, or T1, as she is called, has killed and eaten at least 13 human beings in the past one year and a half, which has reportedly been used as a last resort. The order has been challenged in all courts, including the Supreme Court.

Despite all the measures, Avni remains completely untraceable.

The activists have begun petitioning the President, requesting him to step in and get the shoot-to-kill order withdrawn. It is not clear if the President will respond. It is also not clear what will happen to Avni¡¯s two cubs if she is killed.
