Shri Siddeshwar Loka Kalyana Charitable Trust, which runs the JSS Super Specialty Hospital in Karnataka, announced that delivery of all the new born babies at the hospital will be done for free till January 22 to celebrate 'Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha'.
"It's a huge occasion and we wanted to contribute in a significant way. So we decided that all deliveries happening at our hospital for the specified period of five days will be done free of cost," an official told PTI.
So far, on 18 January, atleast seven deliveries were done free of cost.
Vijayapura MLA Basanagouda Patil Yatnal called this a "Ayodhya Celebration".
He posted on X, "If a delivery takes place at JSS hospital from January 18, 2024 to January 22, 2024, then the male child born at the hospital will be considered as a form of Rama and the new born female child will be considered as a form of Sita."
From 14-15 deliveries a day to aligning 30 delivering on Jan 22
At Uttar Pradesh¡¯s largest government hospital, pregnant women are requesting doctors to have their deliveries aligned with the auspicious Ram Mandir inauguration event on January 22.
While typically overseeing 14 to 15 deliveries, Dr. Seema Dwivedi (Chairperson of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department at GSVM Medical College) revealed that preparations are underway for around 30 cesarean operations on January 22.
And why not; after all, devotees have awaited the construction of the Ram temple for a century.
