Controversial BJP MLA from Hyderabad, Raja Singh, who is notorious for his off the cuff comments, is back in the news - this time for an even strange reason.
Singh, the lone BJP MLA from Telangana is accused of plagiarising a song by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) the media wing of the Pakistan Army to for his song which praises the Indian Army.
It all began on April 12 when Singh, who goes by the name @TigerRajaSingh on Twitter announced his 'debut' as an artist. His song, 'Hindustan Zindabad' had mostly Urdu lyrics "Dil Ki Himmat Watan, Apna Jazba Watan".
But social media users were quick to point out that Singh's song was a rip-off from ¡®Pakistan Zindabad¡¯ a song produced by ISPR and posted on YouTube on 21st March.
Singh literally lifted the lyrics and replaced "Pakistan Zindabad" with "Hindustan Zindabad".
In a sarcastic tweet, DG ISPR Asif Ghafoor too confirmed that Singh's song was inspired by the ISPR production.
Glad that you copied. But copy to speak the truth as well. #PakistanZindabad https://t.co/lVPgRbcynQ

Even after being called out Singh is sticking to his position and claimed that he was unaware of the song by ISPR.
Accusing Pakistan of copied his song, Singh said: "we don't have to copy anything from a terrorist state like Pakistan."
Good to see even #Pakistan media is covering my song #HindustanZindabad.

I'm more surprised that even a terriorst nation produces singer's. #Pakistani singer's may have copied my song we don't have to copy anything from a terrorist state like Pakistan. pic.twitter.com/nnXIinOt1E
Mostly known for his hate speeches and inflammatory comments against religious minorities, Singh the MLA from Goshamahal is the only representative of the BJP in Telangana assembly.
He has a notorious track record when it comes to hate comments, especially against the Muslim community.
In January this year, he had made headlines after he refused to take oath as MLA from the pro-term speaker as the latter was from AIMIM, the party headed by Asaduddin Owaisi.
Singh who had earlier in 2018 resigned as MLA had claimed that he wanted to focus on cow protection and during the election campaign claimed that Hyderabad will be renamed as ¡®Bhagyanagar¡¯ if the BJP comes to power.
Singh had in the past called for shooting dead of Bangladeshi settlers and Rohingya if they do not return to their countries.
Other than that he had claimed that he was ready to kill beef-eaters to save cows and more 'Dadri-like' incidents if Muslims continue to eat beef.
In 2017 he had referred to Old Hyderabad as 'Mini Pakistan' and claimed that he is preparing a private Army and training the youth with the lethal weapons to fight with others.
