Boy Asks Bihar CM To Admit Him To Private School Because Of Poor Education In Govt Schools
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was stunned by an 11-year-old boy studying in Class VI when he asked for admission into a private school. The boy approached and pleaded with the chief minister which took him by surprise for a few moments. A video clip of the incident which took place at the CMs native village Kalyanbigha on Saturday has been doing rounds on social media since yesterday.
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was stunned by an 11-year-old boy, studying in Class VI, when he asked for admission into a private school since the quality of education at his government-run school in the village was not up to the mark.
The boy approached and pleaded with the chief minister, which took him by surprise for a few moments.
A video clip of the incident which took place at the CM¡¯s native village Kalyanbigha under the Harnaut block of Nalanda district on Saturday has been doing rounds on social media since yesterday.
CM Nitish Kumar had gone to his village to pay floral tributes to his wife Manju Kumari Sinha on her 16th death anniversary, reported TOI.
"Please support me in my studies"
¡°Sir! Listen Na (Suniye Na) Pranaam¡Please support me in my studies. My guardian does not want to assist me in my studies. The teachers do not know how to give quality education at my government school,¡± Sonu told the CM.
He asked him to get admitted to a private school since the quality of education in the local government-run school where he studies are not up to the mark.
If in dream, I am asked to wish anything and everything, my first and last wish would be Quality, Free and Accessible Universal Education to all. Education is the real Empowerment.

Nitish heard the grievance of the schoolboy and immediately asked one of the officers accompanying him to make necessary arrangements for the boy¡¯s studies.
The boy said that the CM had assured him that he will be assisted in getting a quality education.
Later, Sonu said that his father Ranvijay Yadav works as a curd seller. ¡°My father spends all his earnings on consuming alcohol. He does not have enough money so that I can get admission to a private school,¡± the boy was quoted as saying by TOI.
He also said that he wants to become an IAS or IPS officer after finishing his studies.
