Work issues seem to be all over the Internet at the moment - encompassing both job layoffs and inventive approaches to securing employment.
The latest viral incident involves a CEO's response to an employee's resignation letter, igniting widespread criticism online.
The email, posted on Reddit, has been widely condemned for its apparent lack of empathy and professionalism.
Employee's stand against CEO's harsh treatment
The employee worked at a company with what they described as an abusive CEO for a year. Despite facing insults, they tolerated the situation for the job's perceived opportunities.
The CEO's behavior escalated when working remotely, leading to intense verbal abuse over the phone.
After enduring four days of this mistreatment, the employee resigned during a particularly offensive episode stating in the resignation letter: "I resign due to the CEO¡¯s frequent violations of HR Policy."
Post-resignation, the CEO instructed coworkers to block and cut off communication with the employee while also threatening a defamation case, calling the employee's remarks as 'inaccurate.'
Further, the employee had experienced financial struggles and received a promotion with a $10k increase, but the CEO held providing food over their head.

Classic narcissist move, say netizens
The online community expressed strong discontent.
"Sounds like a good case for SEVERAL lawsuits. Especially with her 'I am the law here' comment to city officials. That means paper trail. Try contacting the city and inquiring about her past actions," remarked one user.
Another user clarified, "I don't know who needs to read this but PTO is an agreement between an employee and an employer. The employer can 'gift' as many PTOs as they want and do not require PTO days to literally stop showing up to work if they want to. It's their company. This person did not give you her PTO. You just got extra PTO days."
"Classic narc move. Everything they ever do for you is just leverage, including the basic minimum treating you like a human or just not treating you like trash," commented another user.
Yet another user expressed, "She seems like a raging lunatic."
