1. Girls Outshine Boys In The Class 10 CBSE Exams, 96.21 Percent Qualify For Higher Education
With a pass percentage of 96.36 per cent, girls outshone boys in the CBSE Class 10 exams, the results of which were declared on Saturday.
The boys registered a pass percentage of 96.11 percent. Overall the pass percentage this year is 96.21, which has come down from 97.32 percent in the previous year.
A total of 14,91,293 candidates were registered for Class X examination, an increase of about 8.5 per cent candidates over last year.

The market troubles of Indian e-commerce giant Flipkart only seem to be growing. While it is embroiled in a controversy over the delay in appointments of IIM campus recruits, on the other side the company is facing devaluation from rating agencies.
On Friday, Morgan Stanley marked down the valuation of the e-commerce retailer's shares by 15.5 percent.
This is the second time Morgan Stanley has done this, effectively bringing down Flipkart¡¯s valuation to $ 9.39 billion from the highs of $ 15.2 billion in June 2015.

One in three women in India from Hindu, Muslim communities were married before their 18th birthday, the official statistics on married women released on Friday has revealed.
Rajasthan leads the country in child marriages with 10.29 lakh or 2.88% of 3.57 crore married people before they completed the first decade of their life. This is followed by Andhra Pradesh (2.70%), Maharashtra (2.57%), Karnataka (2.43%), Uttar Pradesh (2.10) and Gujarat (2.09%).
