CRPF Keeps Duty First, Offers Help To Kashmiris Facing Threats After Pulwama Terror Attack
The CRPF has set a new example of dedication and service even at the time of distress by reaching out to those on the receiving end of the backlash of the Pulwama terror attack. CRPF Madadgaar the 24x7 helpline of the paramilitary for those in distress reached out to Kashmiris residing outside the state.
The deep wounds inflicted by terrorists on the Central Reserve Paramilitary Force (CRPF) are still afresh, and it will take some time and effort for the force to recover from the loss of their brethren.
However, the CRPF has set a new example of dedication and service even at the time of distress by reaching out to those on the receiving end of the backlash of the Pulwama terror attack.

Ever since the news of the terror attack broke out and it came to light that a Kashmiri youth was behind the carnage, Kashmiris living across the country have been targeted.
They have come under assaults educational institutions, homes and even their businesses have not been spared, forcing many to flee or go underground.

Now, the CRPF which lost 44 of its men in the worst attack in its history has reached out to the Kashmiris in distress. CRPF Madadgaar, the 24x7 helpline of the paramilitary for those in distress, reached out to Kashmiris residing outside the state.

In a tweet, CRPF Madadgaar has given their toll-free number, 14411 and another number 7082814411, where those in need can reach them via SMS.
Other official and unofficial handles are also trying to extend help to people living in fear.

Following the recent incidents where Kashmiris came under attack, the Home Ministry has asked all the states and Union Territories to ensure the safety of people from Jammu and Kashmir.
"There have been some reports of students and other residents of Jammu and Kashmir experiencing threats and intimidation in the wake of the terrorist attack in Pulwama," said a Home Ministry official. "Therefore, the MHA today issued an advisory to all states and UTs to take necessary measures to ensure their safety and security," he said.
