Deadline Set: Ayodhya Ram Temple To Be Completed By December 2024
The key projects in the pipeline are Shri Ram Kund, Karm Kshetra (for rituals), Hanuman Gadhi, Shri Ramlala Purakalik Darushan Mandal, Shri Kamm Keerti, Guru Vashishtha Peethika, Bhakti Teela, Tulsi (open theatre), Ram Darbar, Mata Kaushalya Vatsalya Mandap, Ramangan, Maharashi Valmik Archives Centre and Mata Sita Rasoi Annakshetra (kitchen).
The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has set a firm deadline for the completion of all ongoing construction work at the Ram temple ¨C December 2024. Trust member Anil Mishra revealed that while certain projects within the complex might require additional time and are slated for completion by the end of the following year, the overall construction will conclude by December 2024.
This timeline aligns with the directives of the Yogi Adityanath government, which has also established deadlines for ongoing development projects in Ayodhya, excluding the temple complex. The combined efforts of the state and central governments aim to execute projects totalling Rs 32,000 crore in the revered temple town.
Among the noteworthy projects in progress are Shri Ram Kund, Karm Kshetra (ritual space), Hanuman Gadhi, Shri Ramlala Purakalik Darushan Mandal, Shri Kamm Keerti, Guru Vashishtha Peethika, Bhakti Teela, Tulsi (open theatre), Ram Darbar, Mata Kaushalya Vatsalya Mandap, Ramangan, Maharashi Valmik Archives Centre, and Mata Sita Rasoi Annakshetra (kitchen). Additionally, twelve new temples are slated for construction within the Ram Janmabhoomi complex, accompanied by various facilities for devotees.
Upon completion, the grandeur of the temple will be manifested in its impressive dimensions ¨C 161 feet in height, 235 feet in width, and 360 feet in length. Anil Mishra emphasised the Trust's commitment to maintaining the construction momentum, ensuring the timely realisation of this significant religious landmark.
