According to Skymet Weather, both day and night temperatures across Delhi and adjoining areas of Noida, Gurugram, and Faridabad are set to increase. At least for the next week, there are no chances of any pre-Monsoon rains in the national capital. Dry weather conditions are expected to continue over entire Northwest India including Delhi-NCR.

An uninterrupted flow of dry and hot winds would continue from northwest direction, which will be instrumental in increasing the temperatures.
It is not just Delhi, most parts of north India have seen rising temperatures in the past few days. Haryana on Monday saw the temperatures soar over 44 degrees.

In Southern India, Telangana has recorded the highest temperature of the season at 47.2 degrees Celsius in Ramagundam.
IMD has issued a warning that the heat wave was likely to prevail in some places of Telangana till May 31.
