Delhi Teacher Hits Class V Student With Scissors, Throws Her Out Through Window Of 1st Floor
In a shocking incident, a school teacher in Delhi allegedly hit a female student with scissors and then flung her from the first floor of the building. The incident occurred on Friday at the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD)-run Prathmik Vidyalaya in central Delhi's Model Basti area. The Class V student was rushed to the Hindurao hospital, where her condition is stated to be out of danger.

I did nothing wrong: student
The Class V student rushed to the Hindurao hospital, where her condition is stated to be out of danger.
"I was hit with a pair of scissors and she (teacher) pulled my hair and then threw me from the school's first floor. I did not do anything wrong," the student, whose identity has not been revealed, told ANI.
Accused teacher suspended
Following the incident, the accused teacher, identified as Geeta Deshwal, was suspended by the MCD.
"The student has been admitted to Hindu Rao Hospital. All necessary tests including CT scan has been done. The child is safe and stable and responding well. The teacher has been detained by police. The MCD has also suspended her with immediate effect. Further investigation is being conducted by the department," a senior MCD official told PTI.
Teacher booked for attempt to murder
According to a senior police official, at around 11.15 a.m., an information was received that a child was thrown from the first floor classroom by the teacher at DBG police station following which Station House Officer, along with a police team, reached the spot.

The accused teacher has been detained and a case under section 307 (attempt to murder) of Indian Penal Code (IPC) has been registered on the basis of eyewitness statement.
