Earlier, the EC had directed the political parties not to use the pictures of the members of either wing of the armed forces for their political campaigns for the upcoming general elections.
The two posters were shared by the Delhi MLA on March 1.
Both the posters have the image of Wing Commander Abhinandan, PM Modi and BJP President Amit Shah with his own image. OP Sharma is an MLA from Vishwas Nagar in Delhi.
The move came after the EC issued the directives that no political parties can use picture related to the armed forces in their campaign either on social media or on the ground. The EC on Sunday announced the schedule for the general elections and with the announcement, the Model Code of Conduct was also implemented with prohibits the use of pictures related to the armed forces for the campaign.
The EC also said it has asked both Facebook and Twitter to filter such material accordingly.
