But here's something that might perk your interest, particularly if you enjoy South Indian cuisine: A Bengaluru-based entrepreneur, who appeared on Shark Tank last year, has expressed his desire to offer filter coffee and South Indian snacks on trains.

But here's something that might perk your interest, particularly if you enjoy South Indian cuisine: A Bengaluru-based entrepreneur, who appeared on Shark Tank last year, has expressed his desire to offer filter coffee and South Indian snacks on trains.
Attempt to include snacks from the South on Vande Bharat
In a post shared on X, Bengaluru entrepreneur GD Prasad commended Indian Railways for the "world class Vande Bharat in the South."
Prasad is the founder of Bengaluru-based coffee brand VS Mani & Co. In the post, he made a request that would undoubtedly resonate with many: "Request your support with more brands from our region represented in the snack tray. We'd be honoured to serve filter coffee & South Indian snacks if you give us an opportunity."
Along with his request, he shared an image of the snack tray on the Vande Bharat, which included packets of bhujia, peanut chikki, and masala chai.

Prasad has appeared on Shark Tank previously
GD Prasad, together with his co-founders Rahul Bajaj and Yashas Alur, appeared on the second season of the startup reality show 'Shark Tank India' last year.
They secured ?19 lakh for a 1% equity stake and ?41 lakhs in debt at 10% interest, valuing their venture, VS Mani, at ?19 crores. Notably, one of the judges, Anupam Mittal, had previously invested in VS Mani before the founders' appearance on the show.
'Shark Tank India' is an Indian Hindi-language business reality television series that showcases aspiring entrepreneurs from India presenting their business models to a panel of investors and convincing them to invest money in their idea.
