Some local BJP leaders decorated the wagons with their smiling faces taking credit for bringing the much needed relief. While the arrival of the water train is a great news for the affected people these kind of petty actions makes us ask the question whether it is the right platform for someone to gain some political mileage.
Remember the 'Amma posters' which were all over the relief materials during the Chennai floods?
It seems like some BJP leaders in Maharashtra were so impressed with that, they are using something similar for their own selfish promotion.
When the first water train carrying around 50,000 litres of water reached Latur, some local BJP leaders 'decorated' the wagons with their smiling faces, taking credit for bringing the much needed relief.
