Flood Ravaged Kerala Needs Your Support, This Is How You Can Extend Your Help
In the past two days 52 deaths have been reported from across the state and the numbers are feared to rise further. Twelve out of the fourteen districts of Kerala are experiencing heavy to very heavy rainfalls which are likely to continue for at least a few more days. The Kerala government had sought Rs 8316 crore as a special package from the Central Government for dealing with the situation.
With every passing day the flood situation in Kerala is only getting worse. With rains showing no signs of slowing down red alert has been issued across the state for the next couple of more days.

With many areas cut off by water, social media pages are flooding with people posting videos of themselves seeking help. Many popular Facebook pages in the state have also stopped all other activities to focus sharing information on flood.
The Kerala government had sought Rs 8,316 crore as a special package from the Central Government for dealing with the situation. Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh who visited the flood-hit state on Sunday announced an immediate relief package of Rs 100 crore.
