It's like the time when Ron tried to make Draco eat slugs and it backfired. (If that spell had a magical latin-sounding name it would surely be Grossalis Me Outis!)
If you didn't already figure it out from the headline, let us tell you again - a passenger travelling on an Air India flight to Chicago found a cockroach in the meal served onboard.

Yes, someone on the airline's catering staff thought they were working on a Fear Factor special and decided to serve the Blattodean delicacy to the unsuspecting, yet duly paying, flyer.

Though it might sound like a vegetarian ranting over some pesky non-veg sighting, we are sure that's not the case. In fact, last time we checked none of the major Indian cuisines had a cockroach-laden recipe as the mainstay.
The airline then did what any god-fearing sarkari company serving Indians would do. It ordered a probe into the matter and also served notice to the caterer concerned.
The incident happened in the Chicago-bound flight from Hyderabad via New Delhi. A passenger tweeted about it along with a picture of the meals having a dead cockroach, following which Air India apologised for the inconvenience.
Air India's senior manager for corporate communications Dhananjay Kumar said, "Air India took serious note of the incident and issued notice to the caterer concerned immediately. Further investigation is going on."
Here's an official response.
@BostonNewsHound We apologies for any inconvenience caused. We have a zero tolerance policy in this respect.Obligatory action is taking place
