Former WWE Wrestler The Great Khali Allegedly Misbehaves, Slaps A Toll Plaza Employee In Punjab
The Great Khali aka Dalip Singh Rana is arguably the most famous Indian who has ever wrestled for the World Wrestling Entertainment WWE. On Tuesday a video emerged on social media showing him getting into an argument with a toll plaza staff. It is still unclear what led to the exchange between the two but some reports say that the toll plaza employee tried to enter the former wrestlers car to click a selfie which he did not like.
On Tuesday, The Great Khali, aka Dalip Singh Rana, arguably the most famous Indian who has ever wrestled for the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), found himself embroiled in a controversy after a video emerged on social media showing him getting into an argument with a toll plaza staff.
The undated video that surfaced on social media on Tuesday is said to be from Ladowal Toll Plaza near Phillaur in Punjab.

Here is what happened
It is still unclear what led to the exchange between the two, but some reports say that the toll plaza employee tried to enter the former wrestler's car to click a selfie, which he did not like.

In the video, the toll plaza employee can be repeatedly heard telling that he was slapped by Khali after he asked him to show his ID card.
Khali, on the other hand, claimed that the toll plaza employee was blackmailing him.
The two sides repeated their claims to a cop who reached the spot.
At this point, Khali, who was till then seated inside his car, also steps out and tries to remove a barricade that was stopping his car.
When the toll plaza employee tried to stop him, the former wrestler could be seen trying to pull him.
Khali then walks off towards his car as he and the man making the video continue to trade their allegations of blackmail and misbehaving.
From Himachal to WWE
Born in a Punjabi family in Himachal Pradesh, Khali, who is said to be 7.1 ft tall, made his wrestling debut in 2000.
After wrestling for small promotions in Japan, Khali made his WWE debut in 2006 and was signed with the company until 2014.
In February 2014, WWE announced that Khali had become a US citizen.
In 2015 Khali returned to India and founded his own wrestling company by the name of Continental Wrestling Entertainment, which also trained other young wrestling aspirants.
He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2021.
The wrestler has appeared in films like "MacGruber," "Get Smart," and "The Longest Yard."
Earlier this year, Khali was in the news after he joined the BJP.
