From Mango Love To 'Buddy' Obama, 9 Things PM Modi Just Revealed About Himself

Prime Minister Narendra Modi¡¯s 'non-political' tete-e-tete with Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has revealed several things about his personality. The PM shared his likes and dislikes in quite a candid conversation.

The actor spoke to PM Modi while walking the sprawling meadows of 7 Lok Kalyan Marg, the official residence of the PM.

1. Obama is a buddy

¡°When president Obama and I met, he asked me whether I sleep or not. Since we are very close friends, he calls me 'Tu' as there are hardly any formalities. I told him that my body cycle is such that I don¡¯t sleep more than three to four hours.¡±

2. Emotions and anger management

"Though I don¡¯t get angry easily, even if something unpleasant happens, I just pick a paper and write about it and then tear that paper and throw it. By doing this, I vent out my anger.

3. Detached from the world

"Since I am quite a wanderer, right from the beginning, the feeling of detachment seeped in at a young age. Later, in later stages of life, I called my mother to live with me, but she wants to spend time in her villager and I don¡¯t get much time to spend with her."

4. Loves to crack jokes during cabinet meeting

"I would lighten the moment if my father would get angry. I love to play with words even now but now things can misconstrued and at time used in wrong contexts. My sense of humour, however, is intact and I crack jokes even during the cabinet meeting."

5. My love for Mangoes

"When I was growing up, we didn¡¯t have the luxury to buy mangoes. But I was best at plucking mangoes directly from the tree. Now, I have keep a count how many mangoes have I eaten."

6. Never thought to become PM

"I never through I would ever become Prime Minister. I was common man and common man doesn¡¯t think like that. The kind of background, I came from even if I got a simple job, my mother would have been distributing ladoos in the neighbourhood."

7. Kurtas from Mamata Didi
