Heights Of Jealousy! Bengaluru Man Couriers Wife's Boss A Snake, Warns Him Of Dire Consequences
Keith Dsilva claims to have received a parcel which contained a live snake. He suspects his female employees husband Devi Prasad to be behind the incident. Police authorities have taken up a non-cognizable issue and have sought legal opinion to pursue the case.
In an unusual case reported from Bangalore, allegedly a jealous husband sent his wife's boss a live snake via courier and threatened him of dire consequences.
First Division Assistant of state run Bangalore Electricity Supply Company in central Bengaluru, Keith D'silva, claims to have received a parcel which contained a live snake.
After receiving the parcel Keith filed a police complaint with the High Grounds police station. He suspects his female employee's husband Devi Prasad to be behind the incident. Devi Prasad was opposed to his wife working under Keith and receiving work calls at home.
Police authorities have taken up a non-cognizable issue, and have sought legal opinion to pursue the case. D¡¯silva stated that he received a courier at his office around noon on Tuesday and when he opened the box, he found a live snake in it. Petrified on seeing the snake, he claims to have released it in an open field near his office. He also recovered a letter in the parcel box threatening him of dire consequences.
"We have sought legal opinion to register a case of criminal intimidation. As per our preliminary investigation the parcel was sent from a courier office at Rajajinagar in North Bengaluru," an investigating officer was quoted telling the Indian Express.
