Tutti frutti filled sushi
A user on X (previously Twitter) posted a picture featuring an assortment of sushi with distinct colors, including pink, white, and black.
In the subsequent image, user @pavbhajilover is seen delicately holding a distinctive sushi with chopsticks, and surprisingly, it appears to be filled with tutti frutti!
In the caption, he expresses, "These Jain sushi were so good, I don't even know how!"
This isn't the first instance of infusing a desi twist into sushi.
On a previous occasion, an Instagram user concocted 'dal chawal sushi' featuring actual dal, pomegranate, garlic chutney, and sukhi dal as the stuffing, accompanied by dal tadka on the side!
Describing the dal chawal sushi as 'almost like a hug,' she captioned it, "All of these elements went SO well together, it had everything - sweetness, spice, sourness and it tasted really good, almost like a hug."

Food crime, express netizens
However, not everyone shared the same level of enthusiasm.
One individual commented, "Jain sushi is the new vegetarian biryani."
Another remarked, "Japanese will kill themselves when they taste Jain sushi."
One teased playfully in a sarcastic tone, saying, "You spelled 'Mithai' wrong," while another joked, "Do you pair it with ketchup or tamarind chutney?"
Yet, a third person expressed a sense of culinary disapproval, stating, "This is a food crime."
