As UP chief minister Akhilesh Yadav and his uncle Shivpal Yadav are fighting to prove one's hegemony over one another, Samajwadi Party, the family firm of UP's Yadav Clan headed by patron Mulayam Singh Yadav, is staring at an inevitable fallout.

But behind this high drama, which has brought political storm in a poll bound UP is considered to be one man, who has been famous for being the reason of such fallout in past as well. Amar Singh - some call him the crisis manager of Mulayam Singh and others the 'Shakuni' who brought this seemingly impregnable Yadav citadel called SP on the verge of collapse.

Yesterday, Akhilesh openly called him a 'Dalal' (middleman) whereas his father and SP patriarch, Mulayam Singh declared him a trust friend, ally and someone he wouldn't live without. But irrespective of truth whether he did script this fallout or not, Amar Singh has a history of allegedly playing roles in facilitating family feuds between different political, Bollywood and corporate families.

Here are major family feud, Amar Singh willingly or unwillingly has been a part of.

1. Ambani Brothers

Amar Singh always claimed friend of Reliance founder, Dhirubhai Ambani, in early 1980s. But after his death, the Dhirubhai's two sons, today India's richest man, Mukesh Ambani and his younger brother Anil Ambani, grappled over the assets left by Dhirubhai, especially the assets related petroleum business.

Amar Singh is believed to have play his part when he supported Anil Ambani and paved way for his political friendship with top leaders of then government at Centre and later with Mulayama Singh, who reportedly made a deal of establishing power plants in Dadri and Roja, with Anil Ambani's company.

Later, when both brother decided ton narrow their difference, Amar Singh was the first person to be thrown out of the scene.

2. Amitabh Bachchan

In the era 1990, the biggest star of Bollywood Amitabh Bachchan was going through arguably the worst phase of his life. Neither his movies were working nor the business, he tried his hand in. In fact, his company, ABCL was declared bankrupt. Amitabh was grave financial crisis and amid this choas, Amar Singh came as a savior.

Amar Singh have acknowledged several times that he bailed out Amitabh from that crisis when all other big corporate houses had forsaken on him. Amar Singh placed a crucial in role in friendship between Sahara Chief Subrata Roy Sahara and Amitabh. Soon this friendship brought Amitabh out of financial crisis and he once again reclaimed the lost glory.

But in 2010 when Amar Singh left SP after having tensions with Mulayam Singh, Amar Singh thought the Bachchans would support him and Jaya Bachchan would also leave SP along with him. But Jaya didn't leave SP and criticised Amar Singh instead. This incident turned the years old friendship between Amar Singh and Amitabh into a stalemate.

3. Differences between Akhilesh and Prateek

Mulayam Singh Yadav has two sons from two wives. UP CM Akhilesh Yadav who is elder son has always been seen as the heir of Mulayam Singh Yadav. But People say the Amar Singh is the man behind the discontent of Sadhana Yadav, Mulayam's second wife and her son Prateek.

According to rumours, Amar Singh helped Sadhna in projecting Prateek as an alternative for Akhilesh in party and politics and want to make him the de facto heir of Mulayam Singh.

Neither Akhilesh Yadav nor Prateek seldom accompany each other at any program, be it related to party or elsewhere which speaks volume of possible role that Amar Singh might have played in souring relations between two half brothers.

4. Difference between Shivpal and Akhilesh

Grapevine has it that it was Shivpal Yadav's support which brought Amar Singh back in SP, but ever since he came, he felt that he doesn't have power which he used to have in his heydays and he thought, Akhilesh is the reason behind this unannounced relegation.

Political pundits believe that it's Amar Singh who ended fuel to fire already lurking beneath the surface where Shivpal Yadav always felt negected in the present of Ramgopal Yadav and CM Akhilesh Yadav calling the shots.

Yesterday's incident when Shivpal Yadav reportedly snatched mike from Akhilesh's hand and called him a liar when Akhilesh reportedly called Amar Singh a Dalal speaks a lot about the role, Amar Singh might have played in bring this impending family feud in open.

5. Facilitated Raj Babbar's ouster from SP

It was Raj Babbar who had allegedly held Amar Singh responsible for all the ruckus the year 2000, when Raj Babbar was one of strongest leaders of SP and close confidante of Mulayam Singh Yadav.
