This is not Ganga Aarti, this is burning funeral pyres at Bhainsakund Crematorium, Lucknow. Now they have tin sheets surrounding it to stop videos and pics. That¡¯s how they handle Covid in UP. By denying its existence. pic.twitter.com/T1dlfyNf4H

Many are said to be those who succumbed to COVID-19.
After the video of the alleged covering up of the crematorium surfaced, many compared it to the wall that was constructed in Ahmadabad last year ahead of the visit of Donald Trump to block the slums from his view.
In Gujarat the BJP govt covered the slums of the poor to hide them from the world.

According to reports, Bhainsakund like most of the crematoriums in India right now is seeing a sudden increase in the number of cremations performed there every day.
Many of these are said to be those who died of COVID-19. But the number of those cremated as per COVID-19 protocol is much higher than the official death tolls from the infection.
