Later he said that due to unavailability of a dresser as the dresser was absent, a ward boy tied the bandage on the knee over the jeans the patient was wearing.
¡° As soon as the incident came to notice, Shobharma's jeans were cut and his knees were dressed properly,¡± Dr Pandit said.
Dr Pandit further said that the hospital has one dresser against the sanctioned strength of four and thus dresser can't be available for 24 hours.
¡°Because of this shortage, the ward boy used to carry out dressings under supervision of a nurse. In this case, the doctor after issuing instruction for dressing, got busy preparing Shobharam's MLC,¡± he said.
