We often hear stories related to negligence on the part of government school where the students often find worms or insects in the mid-day meal but in a shocking incident that took place in Madhya Pradesh, a class 1 student was allegedly burnt by mid-day meal serving staff after she threw hot dal on him in Shahpur's Ludra village in Dindori.
Reason? Well, this might shock you even more. The student asked for an extra serving of food.

"The incident took place on January 23. They approached us on January 24," news agency ANI quoted a police officer.
