Mumbai Comes To A Grinding Halt After Heavy Rains, More Downpours Predicted In Next 24 Hours
Road and rail traffic in Mumbai has come to a standstill following hours rains since Monday morning Waterlogging has been reported from across the city causing massive traffic jams. Flight operations were also temporarily suspended at the Mumbai airport due to low visibility. IMD suburban areas received around 20 mm rainfall in just three hours starting 830 am.
Normal life in Mumbai has been hit once again as road and rail traffic in the Maximum city has come to a standstill following hours rains since Monday morning.
Waterlogging has been reported from across the city, causing massive traffic jams.

Waterlogging has also been reported on rail tracks at Ghatkopar, Kanjurmarg, Sion and other stations due to which local trains on the Central Line were running slow.

Flight operations were also temporarily suspended at the Mumbai airport due to low visibility.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD) suburban areas received around 20 mm rainfall in just three hours starting 8.30 am.
It has also predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall at a few places in the districts of Raigad, Thane, Palghar and Mumbai on July 9, and heavy rainfall likely at isolated places in the districts of Raigad, Thane, Palghar and Mumbai on July 10.
