The entire North Konkan area comprising the twin districts of Mumbai City and Mumbai Suburban, neighbouring districts of Palghar, Thane and Raigad which comprise the MMR is getting heavy rainfall.
It¡¯s almost impossible to predict rains like this. No models can predict such small area isolated downpour. From Sunday to Wednesday spell like this was far more likely as other parts of Konkan got very heavy rains but Mumbai missed couple of very heavy spells.
