Odd-Even Plan Returns To Save Delhi From Pollution, To Be Implemented Between November 13-17
The toxic haze hanging over Delhi for the past three days thickened, leading to near zero visibility at many places, even as air quality slid further and touched calamitous levels.
The Delhi government has reimplemented the Odd-Even scheme for cars after national capital has turned into a gas chamber.
Odd-Even will be implemented for five days, between November 13-November 17, the SRCS said.
Delhi government will make the announcement in the evening.

Delhi¡¯s air quality has dipped to severe level due to intense pollution, posing health hazards to the residents.
The toxic haze hanging over Delhi for the past three days thickened, leading to near zero visibility at many places, even as air quality slid further and touched calamitous levels.
The air quality index of the Central Pollution Control Board had a score of 487 on a scale of 500, indicating 'severe' levels of pollution, which can affect even healthy people and "seriously impact" those with existing diseases.

The scheme, based on the last digit of the registration number of vehicles, was implemented twice in 2016 - from January 1-15 and April 15-30. Under the scheme, odd and even numbered vehicles ply on alternate days.
