Saeed's friend Saifullah Khalid is the head of the MML party. The Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) founder is alleged of having links to the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks that killed 160 people, and he has been designated a terrorist by the U.S. government. He is currently under house arrest in Lahore.
