Party Time: People Burst Crackers To Celebrate Reopening Of Liquor Shops In Coimbatore

As liquor shops reopened in Coimbatore, people could not control their joy and celebrated by bursting crackers, as per India Today.

Tamil Nadu imposed strict lockdown in 11 districts due to COVID and Coimbatore was no exception. Curbs were relaxed in areas where the infection risk was low.

Liquor shops were allowed to open after daily cases fell below 4000.

However social distancing norms need to be followed and no liquor will be sold to someone without a mask.
