Airplanes are making headlines these days for absurd incidents. While Hong Kong airlines, Cathay Pacific painted its name wrong on its aircraft, an IndiGo bus had recently caught fire at Chennai airport.
In the latest incident, a passenger who was flying for the first time on a G8 149, Delhi to Patna flight, attempted to open Airbus A-320 door mistaking it to be the lavatory door. The episode took place on a Go-Air airplane on September 22, the Times Of India reported.
The passenger who was trying to open the rear door of the aircraft mid-air was later handed over to the security personnel on arriving at the destination. Reportedly, the fellow travellers informed that the passenger who was in his late 20s got up from his seat and moved to the aircraft door.

Passengers started screaming and tried to stop him. Though, what irked the fellow colleagues was the fact that when people prevented the man from doing so, he resisted and even wrestled with them. A co-passenger then raised an alarm after which he was intercepted by the crew.
The flight with 150 passengers on board landed safely. He was handed over to the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) and later on to the Patna Airport Police station. ¡°There was no ulterior motive behind his act,¡± Airport police station Station House Officer (SHO) MD, Sanowar Khan told the media.
