'Police Pathshala' Run By Bihar Cops Is Helping The Youths Clear Competitive Exams
In a bid to empower women in Bihar, the state police have taken a nice initiative of the 'Police Pathsala' where they have trained 33 youths of which 18 are girls, without taking any money, as per The New Indian Express.

These youths are now eligible to be sub-inspectors and sergeants. This place is run by the police with the help of academicians and other civil administration officials in Bhagalpur.
The students got free classes before COVID and since the pandemic have been receiving online classes. They get tips on cracking examinations, especially for police services and others in general, which are conducted by both the Bihar Public Serve Commission.
Bhagalpur DIG Sujeet Kumar said it was started by then SSP of Bhagalpur Manoj Kumar in December 2016.
¡°He not only started teaching the youths free of cost to help them crack various competitive examination for police and other services but also looped in the trainers from police and other services to provide physical fitness training, required for qualifying in police services at Sandy compound in Bhagalpur,¡± he said.
¡°This time, 18 girls and 15 boys have qualified for the posts of Bihar police sub-inspector and the police sergeant," he added.
¡°Among those, who have cracked the police examinations, 7 are wards of police lower rank personnel. Prity Kumari is one of those police wards, who have qualified for the post of a police sergeant,¡± he went on to say.
It's definitely a nice initiative and it shows how these cops are going above and beyond to encourage today's youth to be responsible.
