We saw farmers feeding food and water to the very cops who were beating them up. Farmers were cooking their own food during the protests and it just showed how during the worst of times, they still had their dignity. Not once have they lost their identity in the scheme of things. But they have certainly lit a fire under Delhi's belly.
The latest development is that when the farmer leaders were having lunch at Vigyan Bhavan, where the talks are on with the Government, it showed that they were eating their own food and not what was offered to them.

When the Agriculture Minister offered them tea, they refused and offered him jalebis instead. A farmer truly has the heart of gold. They were also seen eating on the floor, a true sign of humility which won hearts.
The message is clear, they will not be intimidated and shall not accept charity. All they want is what they rightfully deserve, as far as they are concerned.

The protests have been going on for some days now and their resolve not to go back without results is something that needs to be taken seriously.
These people are the ones who raise the crops we eat, so do not expect them to just give in without a fight, no matter what it takes.
