PUBG-Addict 16-Year-Old UP Boy Kills Mother With Father's Gun For Stopping Him From Playing

In an extremely disturbing incident, a teenager murdered his mother after she allegedly stopped him from playing games on his mobile phone for a long.

The incident was reported from Uttar Pradesh's capital Lucknow on Wednesday.

According to the police, the woman, identified as Sadhana, was killed by her 16-year-old son who was addicted to PUBG.

He reportedly used to play PUBG for long hours, which his mother had objected to.

Things took an ugly turn on Sunday when the 40-year-old stopped him from playing PUBG and refused to give him money.

Angered by this, the boy allegedly took his father's licensed revolver and shot his mother dead.

The boy's father, a Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) in the Indian Army is posted in West Bengal.

16-year-old boy hides his mothers body for two days

What is even more shocking is that the 16-year-old boy's 10-year-old sister was at home when the murder took place and she was a witness to the entire incident.

He allegedly threatened her not to reveal the incident to anyone and used a room freshener to hide the smell of the decomposed body.

In the next two days, the boy even invited his friends to party at home, claiming that his mother had gone to visit a relative.

But he couldn't hide the crime any longer as the stench began spreading and could not be hidden with room fresheners.

Neighbours alert father about foul smell at home

Some neighbours who noticed the foul smell informed the boy's father.

The father informed the police who came in and found the three-day-old body of Sadhana from her house in Eldeco Colony under the SGPGI police station on Tuesday night.

ACP, Cantonment, Archana Singh said on Wednesday that a friend of the victim's husband informed the police that foul smell was emanating from his house.

"We reached the spot and found the decomposed body," Singh said. "A forensic team was called on the spot which told us that the woman was shot in the head from close range and then her body was kept in an air-conditioned room to conceal the crime," she said.

Teenager tried to mislead the police

The 16-year-old had initially tried to mislead the police by "narrating a fake story about some electrician".

According to the police, the woman's husband had told them over the phone that on June 4, Sadhana had a spat with her son.

"The 16-year-old boy was addicted to online game PUBG. He told us that his mother used to stop him from playing the game, this is why he killed her. The minor used the registered firearm of his father to kill the mother," Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Qasim Abidi said.
