Kiran Naik is a teacher, but he's more than that. He is an inspiration for many people. Due to his encouragement, many of his students are now doing well. The man had an important role to play. Kiran Naik is a teacher, but he's more than that. He is an inspiration for many people. Due to his encouragement, many of his students are now doing well. The man had an important role to play. What did he do? As per a report in The New Indian Express, this man is bringing education to the doors of Andhra Pradesh's tribals.
Kiran hails from Sanjeeva Nagar Thanda in Nallamala forest of Atmakur Mandal and works as a lecturer at Government Model Residential Polytechnic for Tribals in Srisailam. Not long ago, he received the National Award of Excellence Leadership and Managemen from the Angel Global University in Kakinada.
He has been convincing the parents of tribal children to get the kids educated and improve the standards of living. His mission in life is to make these kids concentrate on their studies and achieve big things in the future.
¡°I had visited a number of schools and remote tribal areas in Prakasam and Kurnool districts such as Chintala, Garapenta, Bairluty, Kottalacheruvu, Murikimalla, Yerragondapalem, Dornala and others to motivate the tribal students to study diploma courses," he said.
His efforts saw 36 tribal youths join in the 2016-17 academic year. That increased to at least 150 students pursuing different courses at the college.
Not just teaching, Kiran also takes part in awareness programmes such as Swachh Bharat. The man is a member of the Indian Society for Technical Education.
The man is doing his bit to shape the future of India.
