This 'Backpacker Artist' From Peru Travelled Across The Country And Her Paintings On India Are Awesome
Peruvian artist Rocio Perez del Solar travelled across India for nearly six months. Her Indian women are from distant Villages in Kerala Tamil Nadu Uttrakhand Himachal Pradesh and Rajasthan.
India is a canvas of colours, and often we fail to appreciate it to its fullest as we are so used to the vibrancy and diversities of our motherland.
But for an outsider, India is a palette of colours unlike anything anywhere in the world.
That is exactly what Rocio Perez del Solar is trying to do.
The Peruvian artist who travelled across India for nearly six months has captured the best of the country on her canvas.

A True backpacker, she travels where the roads would take her. And across the country, she met several women who inspired her to create the series Amazing Women of India.
"I was born in the land of the Incas Peru, teaching me about simplicity and colors. I believe in Mother Nature and to be in contact with it, we need to listen, feel and learn; my work is created on this basis, using a variety of media, technics and whatever I can have at my hands," she said about her works.
