In the recorded video, the individuals inside the vehicle can be observed inquiring about the charges associated with their parking. In response to their inquiry, the parking attendants indicated that the fee amounts to 60 rupees. Subsequently, upon payment of the stipulated amount and receipt of change, the occupants of the vehicle request to visually inspect the receipt for verification purposes.
Upon inspection, they noted the discrepancy of 53 rupees printed on the ticket and requested the return of the extra 7 rupees. Defending his actions, the parking attendant asserts the validity of the 60 rupee charge and prompts the occupants to 'Kayde Me Raho' (Follow the rules).
What IPS officer did in response
In response, one of the individuals agrees, saying, 'Thik hai, kayde me rahenge' (Alright, we'll follow the rules).
Subsequently, IPS officer Abhishek Verma garnered praise on social media after sharing a picture depicting parking workers in police custody alongside a caption emphasising adherence to rules. Verma's statement, "If you stay within the rules, you will be in profit," resonated with many social media users, who expressed admiration for his decisive action.
