'Indian staff to blame?,' ask netizens
The post, which has been viewed over 109k times, has surprised many.
One commented, "It used to be my favourite airline. Over the years their prices have shot up while their services and customer relationships has deteriorated," while another said, "It's not something you expect from @emirates. I have always heard such good things about their hospitality. Hope you are feeling better."
Others corroborated with her experience saying, "I have had equally bad experience with @Emirates actually mine was worse because I was racially abused...besides that extremely poor service as a whole."
Another said, "I have found @emirates to have one of the worst services from staff, even for business class. Rude attendants who chatter through the night on the a380 lounge. They consider all Indians as crap, who can be pushed around."
Yet another blamed it on the Indian staff of the Emirates airline, saying, "Must be your local Indian staff Emirates. Sack them. And when you recruit new ones, train them, educate them on culture, hospitality and basic etiquettes & manners."
Emirates is one of the main airlines of the United Arab Emirates, along with Etihad Airways. Headquartered in Garhoud, Dubai, the airline is a part of The Emirates Group, owned by the government of Dubai's Investment Corporation of Dubai. It is the biggest airline in the Middle East.
