Where did Hezbollah get the pagers?
Thousands of pagers used by Hezbollah militants exploded on Tuesday, injuring over 2,000 people. The pagers had the branding of Taiwan-based Gold Apollo, which said BAC Consulting, a company based in the Hungarian capital Budapest, was the manufacturer of the devices.
BAC Consulting has also distanced itself from the pagers and said that while they have worked with Gold Apollo, they had nothing to do with the exploded devices.
It is believed that Norta acquired the pagers, which were shipped to Norway and then to Lebanon. Somewhere during the entire process from manufacturing to delivery, suspected Israeli operatives managed to implant explosives inside them.
