Woman Goes Into Labour While Travelling, Railway Protection Force Helped Her Deliver Baby Inside A Train
Both mother and the child are doing good and were later sent to Sion hospital along with her husband for further medical attention.
Ever since Suresh Prabhu has taken hold of the Railway waggon, we're only hearing good news about how safe the travel has become, how clean the stations are, and just how convenient the life of everyday travellers is, as opposed to what it was before. Prabhu's reign is a fit of constant improvisation and here's another one to add to that league.
This morning, the official account of Ministry of Railways tweeted that it helped a woman deliver a child in the suburban train in Mumbai.
Ms Sultana Khatun gave birth to a healthy girl inside the train she was travelling in with the help of Railway Protection Force.

One of the passengers in the train informed Shri A.M. Gaikwad, RPF Head constable about the condition of the women and he arranged for help immediately. Within minutes a lady constable along with help was sent to the place and they helped her in delivering the baby.
