Yogi Breaks Silence On UP Encounters, Says, 'Those Who Believe In Guns, Are Answered With Guns'

Uttar Pradesh, more specifically its Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, has had an exciting couple of months - he's taken his cow obsession to the next level, claimed that UP women are no longer afraid of harassment and claimed that the state's health facilities could teach Kerala a thing or three.
He is taking things a step further, now with his aim to defend encounters in UP (the state is on a little bit of a spree, dozens of people have been killed recently.
"Everyone should be guaranteed security, but those who want to disturb peace in the society and believe in the gun should be given the answer in the language of the gun itself. I would tell the administration, that there is no need to worry on this," Mr Adityanath said.

No political inclination could provide respite to those spreading anarchy or breaking parliamentary traditions, the chief minister warned.
Uttar Pradesh has seen 38 encounter killings by the state police in the just over ten months since the Yogi Adityanath-led government assumed charge, with eight killings in about 60 encounters in the last 25 days.
Many of these killings, the relatives of the victims allege, was staged.

The UP CM also said that he has given a free hand to the law enforcement agencies to deal with such elements firmly.
''I would tell the administration that there is no need to worry about this," he said.
