You Can Now Order Domino¡¯s Pizzas And McDonald¡¯s Burgers On Rajdhani and Shatabdi Trains

The Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has tied up with food chains such as Domino¡¯s, KFC, McDonald¡¯s and Sagar Ratna.

In a bid to widen the choices on the travelers¡¯ menu, the newly launched e-catering service will allow passengers onboard Rajdhani and Shatabdi to pre-order their favourite fast food to their seat online, reports FreePressJournal.

The facility can be accessed through the ecatering.irctc.co.in website, only by those having confirmed tickets.

According to reports, e-catering services were introduced in 45 stations since September 2016. The scheme was widened to 408 stations which gives passengers a huge range of food to pick from.

One can make the payment online or at the time of delivery. Apart from McDonald¡¯s and Dominos, Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has collaborated with, KFC , Switz Foods, Haldiram, Bikanervala ad Nirulas.

How to book food online?

1 Go to www.ecatering.irctc.co.in¡¯. website ¡®

2 Enter PNR and choose the station you want to order your meal on

3 Select vendor, food you want to order

4 Select payment mode, you'll get a ¡®booking confirmation receipt and OPT which will be verified at the time of delivery,

Order through phone

1 Call on ¡®1323¡¯

2 Order will be placed by the call centre executive

3 SMS and e-mail shall have an OTP used for verification during the time of food delivery.
